NIU Matt Anthracite Polished 17x7.5J ET45 with Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 3. The wheels are light for 17": 9.5 kilos. Of course it's not as light as required for track, but anyway they are lighter then many other wheels of this size on the marked. They also available in 18" size, and may be larger. 18" wheel weights 10 kilos, according to Andy at Performancealloys.

What kind of suspension are you using? The high looks awesome for me.

It's VWR Sport Springs and Bilstein B4 struts/shocks. The front is 29mm lowered from the stock ride hight and it's 345mm from the hub center to the fender. The rear is about the same grade of lowering, but I fitted an Audi TT rear spring pads to eliminate reverse rake. The ride comfort remained stock, may be 10-15% firmer and more controlled with less dive/squat/body roll than on stock suspension. It's perfect for daily driving. If you track, this setup would be too soft.

I'm considering to purchase 17" alloys to replace my boring 16" winter wheels. I want these wheels as on a photo below. They are genuine Audi alloys, OE part 8K0 071 497 A 8Z8. Does anyone know if they can be used in winter conditions (frost/snow/salt)? Winters in Denmark is similar to UK.

You keep the standard S3 caliper for the handbrake and the 4pot porsche brembo does the braking :sunglasses:

Yep also a sheet of paper, I had to file off a minor amount on one corner of the caliper aswell they are huge
 
Front i removed the screws then cut off and folded the middle tab, rear I removed the screw and then cut off the tab holding the rear bumper at the top, Im at the limit of how low i can go on the front but if I go stiffer springs and a touch of camber I should get it the touch lower that I want all round

Could someone please tell me if I could make 19x8.5 32ET fit on an 8P1 3 DOOR ?

And what tyres would be necessary if anyone knows?
 
I just bought 19 inch rotors but I can't post images here. They're saying that I have to post 3 times before use links.
19x8.5 ET42 from WSP ITALY. 12.6kg each rim.

Here's my so far 90% original Audi A3 Sportback it's a 2005 year, 17inch S Line rims, Partly S-Line interior with Leather-Alcantara seats, it has 1.9TDI engine 105 original horsepower chiped to 135. Front headlights changed to A4 Look...i kinda like it but id love to change them to Audi A3 Xenon lights the one that 8p and S3 have...without LED daylights...

Would i need to modify anything at all? My suspension is curently stock but as im gonna replace wheels im also gonna install B14 Bilstein Coilver Suspension.

And of course which model you prefer more? :)

A simple fitment question to the wheel lovers. Would a short TR412 tyre valve stem fit an OE Rotor rim? Its diameter is right for the oe wheel, but what about its length of 25mm above the rim: isn't it too short?

I have new silver rotor alloys that need tyre valves before fitting tyres and I want the valves to be as less visible as possible. I'm looking at these tyre valve stems: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/401145715186
 
Please I would like to see an a3 8p 3 door with Talladega 19 Golf R wheels on.

@solidmaster well they should fit. I have an S3 and 8J x 19" +45 (also with 225/35/19 dimensions) and didn't need to change anything (see my profile pics). On the rear there's plenty of space, so there's no problem at all with a 8.5 wheel. On the front it could get very narrow...

Oh and I prefer the first ones (the bit darker ones) see the attached images...

Here's my winter setup. Just installed: genuine 7J x 17 ET46 Audi A4 rims with 225/45 R17 Nokian WR D4 tyres. I love the concave rims like these. Also, I painted callipers in black. Din't want them red because I've got small FSIII callipers and didn't want to emphasize that I have small brakes :) But black allows to get rid of rust and look stylish.
