Because I saw a mk4 golf with the same set up and it looked truely amazing!
I love the look of Speedlines on the A3.
Same as mate
Quick Question please - Is the 3.2 Quattro available in the US the same as the S3 Wheel Spec Wise please?
I would like to Import wheels and the Guys can Guarantee they will fit a US Spec 3.2 SB But not my S3 as they do not have the S in the US...
Thank you in advance!
Of course they will fit your S3 if they will fit an A3 3.2.
Few more of the Maybachs.Coilovers are ordered.
Glad your well anyway
Thank you Ash!!
Cant wait to put some new metal on!
No worries fella. Any photos or clue of what your getting
Well I am looking at some OZ racing wheels. I will be sure to put up some pictures one I have imported them
Looking forward to seeing them
Any one got photos of A3/S3 3door on BBS CK II (forged split rim) Seen them on a 8P3 S3 Sportback in Sprint blue.
Wanted to see how they look on a 3door.
Probably the best standard looking wheels iv seen
Finally I have my Ultras and my H&R Monotube suspension. But i think i´ll setup the suspension a little bit higher....
Frank McKrank how is the ride now?
It is good, i like it. I was afraid that it would be very hard, but it is not. It is just a little bit harder than the OEM suspension i think just the bigger rims make it feel more harder. I´m very happy about it, because i want to drive as comfortable as possible.
I didn´t made a testdrive on the autobahn yet, but i will do that on the weekend. Than i can say something about the performance of the suspension.
The only wheel id swap the.s6s for is.maybachs. i like them!
I know just a shame about the high offset and 8J!
....and the weight.
Not really that big a deal Rob, nice new Avatar btw
I dunno about you but heavy wheels can be felt. But for show purposes it's no thing.
I hear what your saying, but no many of us have weight saving power houses
It's not really in the static kerb weight, rotating weight has huge effect in comparison (3-5x). Changing direction on something rotating that is heavy takes more effort. The car feels heavier.
In addition you really wanna keep unsprung weight down too (hence S3s having alloy hubs and lower arms).
As you say though most don't care, and if I cared enough I'd switch back to Speedlines from my Mercs
As they say in Liverpool, alright alright calm down
High off set is better than a stupidly low one. I lied, id also swap for helios. Love them!
A stupidly low offset is fine, because the wheels will either fit or they won't. Its not about wheels that are ET67, and you need 30mm spacers and 47 foot bolts
Just use bolt on spacers and original bolts.
25mm front, 30mm rear? Job done.
Thanks for killing my banter Robin
You and your pole speach lol
hi all, i have standard a3 3.2 V6 in lava grey colour.... i have the standard alloys that came with it!
but i want to change the colour of them.
could you guys give me help choosing the colour.
( I DO NOT WANT TO CHANGE THE ALLOY - Just the colour )
Hi lads my pal has offerd me a set of rims does any one know what they are apart from bbs they have a dish on them i can't seem to find them in the bbs web site .
If there real BBS they will have numbers on the rear?
They look a bit like speedlines. I think BBS use to make them too?
Dunno bout the dish though.
Change the alloys and keep the colour..
Took this last weekend, I need tires desperately !! Plus N8 is giving me his air setup
