    ah fair enough
well when i get my VWR kit, depending on the thickness of the bell i may have to change my spacers to keep the stance the way it is, if i do end up changing them, ill give you first refusal

100% no chance! They are ET26 so will stick out big time

The very similar looking optional ones from the A6 do fit though, they are also 19" but a much more suitable ET48

looks good but when you keep looking at it it looks like the wheels are the wrong offset and sit outside the arches?

I tend to disagree, I think maybe the top one in the above post looks like it has a little 'poke' but i think it's just due to the camera angle and low lighting with the white on white ?

    It's an optical illuuuuusion! :p
The wheels are ET45, aren't they? They shoulden't poke to much with that ET, so if it's true, he must be running spacers.

N8 tucking his Helios, so it's wierd if the same wheels are poking on this S3.

Think your right mate, he running Wheels are VW Helios 19x8.5 Tyres are Falken FK452 225/35/19 and probably some spacers. I'm sure Nate will be along soon to clear it up. Still love the stance

cheers mate.Yeah it would look much better decked.Another thing is i live in speed bump central so getting a lowered car around is a bugger.Plus pot holes hence the reply on the other thread.

completely understand that mate, my way to work takes in some speed bumps! What about the H&R springs for the S3, plenty on here rate them? Although if you had the cash you would be better with coils just set to a suitable height for getting over the bumps

Yeah i would rather have the option of adjusting the ride height, ive had coilies before and i loved them.

If i do lower it,it will be on kw v1's.Thought about springs and dampers but its nice to have control over the height.
