    Oh yes now we talking!
Looks a minter. Love the colour too...

All thats needed now is get rid of the front brakes (...and sell them to me *cough cough*) and grab yourself some 6 pots....possibly 8 pots (B7 Rs4)

Its the stance that I like about these RS4's - An Avant on Roids!!!!

    Cheers.
Have you actually seen the size of the front discs - I'll have to photo them - they're almost comically large. They're bigger than some car wheels I've owned! :jump:

    Cost about £400 a pair - :scared2:

Gonna get some spacers for the wheels too make it even more aggressive :whip:

Good idea on the spacers, what you reckon 10mm??

It'll be nice to see what results you get from the rolling road too!

Should bring the tyres out flush with the wheel arch. Cash is a little tight now, so wont be replacing the wheels yet - maybe get them painted in Anthracite or Black.

It's booked in for a health check next week - finger's crossed...

Yeah it also has a few kerb scuffs, a few stone chips (a couple have gone through the paint), and some minot (quite small) scratches which will hopefully polish out - next weekends task!

Bought it knowing it wasn't concourse condition - it appears to be a well used and looked after 8yr old car with (slightly) lower than average mileage.

Not too concerned about it. Kerbs will be re-polished (and probably painted while I'm at it ). May consider getting the bonnet 'dent' sorted and even a bonnet re-spray, depending on how much it costs. Want to keep money back for servicing too though!!

    Cheers though...

Quite possibly - will have a better feel for things once I've had the health check done. Don't want to start planning on doing various mods etc, if I have to replace the turbos or something !

Would like to do the following when funds permit:

    1. Paint calipers
    2. Wheel's kerbing polished out and painted
    3. Exhaust change
    4. Remap
    5. Bonnet re-spray (bumper and wings are pretty good)
    6. Drilled discs
    7. Sell it and get a C5 RS6

    Chip'N'Spin thread on Audi-Sport

Apparently it's late Aug / early Sept... should be Bromsgrove agains, so jsut over an hour from western part of the the M25.... I went up v early in the morning last time and it took me about 90mins from Wimbledon.

Nice excuse to have a mini-meet... bagsy getting on there and having a quick power run before Stoaksey rips the rolling road to pieces!

I think you can get the non-leather RS4 version for about £430 + airbag + a B7 slipring + any wiring (mine had no MFSW before, so I needed a bit more wiring).... not sure if it's even possible to sort that out for a B5 though...

I think PJM speedy said the leather R8 wheel like mine (incl.airbag) is something like £880, even at his prices!
