Ed was pure class. Especially on the You've Been Fired program that comes on after.

I heard a rumour that Alan Sugar's been put in charge of the Bodywork Protection Warranty Department at Audi UK. Can anyone confirm?

Not as many fitties this year though. And with no Stuart Baggs, can't see this series being as entertaining. Ed was a character and should have been kept in a bit longer. Alex was right to go tonight. Watch Jim the Jedi...'these aren't the droids your looking for' haha

I'm sure the current contenders are holding back their real selves. Give it a few more days and they'll be Stuart Baggs x2.

I don't understand this show. So we are meant to believe that these people are the cream of young British business talent? Many of whom, including Orlando Bloom a like Leon, the moaning scouse guy and James blunt voiced melody have their own business turning over millions by selling Specs to the Dalai Lama and Big Macs to Al gore yet they are willing to throw these hugely successful (according to them) businesses in the bin for a £250K grant for a business that may or may not work and will be part owned by a git like sugar who will probably take the lions share and work them to death.

I also don't understand why no one on the show ever seems to have seen previous seasons and has therefor never learned anything from the previous mistakes. Even the simple lessons like, must try not to come across as an arse.

The show just makes no sense but it does make good viewing with a high cringe factor.

Basically, it's entertainment.. I don't believe for one moment that the people that go one here have successful businesses. If the had, they would be mad to through it all in for this. Basically, they just want to be on tv and become minor x list celebs, like any of the reality tv shows... For some it works - for some it don't... The idea of this program is simply to get viewing figures - personally IMHO I think it is great and very entertaining.. Don't take too seriously :)

I don't watch this either. Well I say that but the the other half does so sometimes I have to endure it. I too hate listening to their bull**** slaver about how f...ing good at business they all are...yes sir Alan...no sir f...ing Alan...sh@g me up the ass sir Alan...bunch of sycophantic tw%ts!!! What would really make good viewing is if instead of the "your fired" line at the end of each show, Sugar actually jumped over the table, smacked one of them in the gob and gave them a kidney punch before calmly sitting back down and saying "your fired, nah fa.k off you cnut". That would be worth watching!

Sorry mods if that's too er opinionated but in mitigation I've had a few drinks and i don't really care:lmfao:

I love The Apprentice. It's so funny. Obviously these people aren't really the best talent out there but they make good tv. The middle management jargon is what makes it funny because they all talk a good game (well Vincent appears to be only able to talk to women!) but they make basic mistakes that makes them look complete plonkers.

And their 'I turned over a £1m' rubbish means nothing, if anyone watches Dragon's Den they'd know turnover is for showoffs, profit is what counts.

That's part of the fun of the show. Seeing them big themselves up only to fail doing the simple things during tasks.
Last night when they had trouble knowing what a certain item was why didn't they use google on their phones?

I said that to my missus, when they were wondering what certain things were. I thought i would be on google straight away on my phone.

Think the right man went last night as he looked lost from the beginning!

Seriously though... the way that lot got excited about getting a 1p discount on the hat........ I would've sacked the lot just for that.
The shop keeper must've thought "what a bunch of losers".

And don't get me started on rat boy vincent. He speaks slow because his brain is slow, but every so often his slow mouth overtakes his slow brain, and then he has to wait for his slow brain to catch up again.
    He's just slow. And rat-like.

Now you say it he does look like a rat!!! Im sure he will be gone soon.

And they should have been far to embarrassed to ask for 1p off the hat.Ridiculous

Personally speaking, I think they voted off the wrong guy last night. They should have voted off the sleazy Vincent. Is this the best we have to offer? He wouldnt survive in the real world.

I dont actually think they are allowed to use their phones for the task other than calling. If you watched 'the apprentice - you're fired' on BBC 2 straight after they also said that how useless people become without the use of google. would suggest that they have no internet access on the phones?

That's gotta be part of the deal... that they can't google stuff on the phone. Part of the task is working out what items are... i.e. a Cloche :scared2:.
