just a note to thank you all on this site for making my mind up. have got a 97 a4t and was going to change it for an alfa gtv or volvo t5coupe. the thought of shelling out £5k on top of my car was simply too painful. they may be slightly faster but will they give 34mpg, i think not. this is my 2nd audi, used to have 87 90 2.2e a fine machine. i have learnt a few things about audis- they do not rust,they are very reliable. am currently fitting a boost gauge, will shortly sort out the arthritic front suspension and lowered springs, and then will look for some 18" wheels and the choice is bewildering. so thanks to the enthusiasm i have encountered here and a glimpse of what you have done with your cars she is staying. once again THANKS!
