On monday I'll be picking up parts that were taken off my 06 plate A3 2.0 TFSI. The engine broke after the pick up pipe got blocked, the inlet cam seized and ended up putting the timing out and bent a few valves.
So this head was removed and replaced with one I got from a crash damaged car.
I now have a spare bottom end which would need a full rebuild as it appears to be water damged, so not too sure if anyone would want it. I certainly don't have the time or money to do it.
And my old head from my original engine, minus the fuel pump etc, bare head along with the damaged valves and cams. I am sure some one would rebuild this and re-use it/sell it....I don't have the time or money to do it.
So would there be any interest in these parts as I need to get back a few quid from what I just paid for my rebuild.
Engine had done 93K full service history. The block I believe was from a 30K A3.
