I just ordered myself a new thermostat.
    Comes Wednesday!!
Guessing it has an effect on performance too if the fueling isn't right?
My car sometimes feels a little slow when i need to pull away quickly and other times its really rapid, guessing this maybe the cause?

Noticed my fuel economy dropping recently and it taking longer and longer to get close to 90. Now the needle won't go above 70 degrees, so I tried the "49C trick". Seems that my needle is reading the same as the climate control number (ie. both around 70 whilst running, climbing at the same rate etc.), so I guess it's my thermostat stuck open, since the sensors appear to corrolate. Can anyone confirm this before I head back to my local garage...? Cheers chaps.

    Temp sender/sensor is fine.

PS Tom : How does the quick shifter feel? Does it do exactly what it says on a tin? Curious of them

No quick shifter yet =( It's still on the "Soon" list!

Unfortunately I don't have any tools where I live currently, and no ramps/axle stands so I'm gonna have to take it to the garage again... Hoping it'll cost me a bit less than the £650 I spent on it last month ='(
