temp car insurance for my mk1 golf

    hello everyone

    i have a mk1 golf gti from 1976 1.6 gti in my garage and i will soon be needing some temp car insurance for the summer

    has anybody had any good quote for temp car cover ?

    i just cant seem to find a place which will cover a 19 year old for only afew weeks on a old car which value is around £500.

    any ideas?

    Dude, have you looked into Classic Car Insurance, might be able to get it at a price that will probably be better if you have it with limited mileage, if that helps at all.

    i've looked into classic insurance and most places only insure over 21 or 25 and being 19 with a near classic is annoying.

    its not finished yet but is just about road worthy and i will perfect it once its on the road and when i have more money.

    this was it when i started but its being resprayed to its original colour of light green (unknown name) seeing that it will be 1 of 4 in the country that colour.

    i think admiral do policys for 2 cars not sure if you can do it on short term basis
