I was speaking to a guy at SFS who claimed some significant gains on their 130bhp Golf with the fitment of a silicone hose kit. They don't however do one for the 130 in the Audi. I've been digging around without much look. Has anyone else found kits for the 130 in an A4?

I could get them made up but for that I would need a group buy of 20 people and a spare set of hoses to copy off which I don't think is likely

Really, just from a hose kit?
You can buy the adaptors that fit into Vag tdis and make your own though.

I was quite dubious about the gains but he claimed 30bhp on an RR. His justification for the claims was that the boost hoses are so poor as standard.

    Adaptors?

Yeh, I saw them ages ago. They were just the connections for the hoses. so you could fit a silicone hose.

That's good to know. Will still need to find someone to make the hoses up though

Unless you could buy hoses the right length and use them.

130bhp diesel's don't gain 30bhp (23%) with hoses. If the original hoses were distorted or damaged it may have restored some original power. For arguments sake I'll also agree with the philosophy that they flow smoother due to bumpy oem pipes so in theory could give a minor advantage but 30bhp is utter nonsense.

I bought one of these off Darkside developments but it didn't fit. The said they can't guarantee they'll fit all TDi's and gave a refund.

Was a bit gutted as now I have to fork out for a genuine part.
