Symphony v2 refusing to load CDs

Hi All,

My first post here, I'm hoping someone can help me with a little query I have?

I bought a lovely S3 from a member of the forum last weekend, and have to say it is the best car I have ever owned by a long shot!

However, the CD player is not working, and the old owner mentioned it could be the loading mechanism. My car has the in-dash 6-CD changer, but refuses to load. I don't think there is a CD in there, but if so I also cannot eject it.

Can anyone suggest a way to rectify this? I appreciate my explanation is a bit ambiguous but would be very grateful for any tips! If it is the mechanism, how would I go about replacing it?

there is no cd in there, me and my friend popped it open and took the cd's it had in there out,
