    hi
is there any real advantage to this swap betwwen the symphony 2 and 2 +
my mate has one and i was wondering if it was worth doing
obviously it looks slightly better without a tape deck and slightly bigger display and shiney volume controls but is that going to be the only advantage
also will i have any issues connecting the unit to my 2001 B6
    any help advice greatfully recieved
    thanks

The main difference is that the II+ allows you to play mp3 CD's, no other real advantage. All the connections are different so you'd need a loom adapter:

Also the fascia maybe different, so you may not get a flush fit.

All Audi HU's are 2 x 20w (not RMS), they only have an internal amp for the front speakers, there is no rear speaker support. This is provided either by the rear/sub amp, which is 2 x 20w and 1 x 50w for the sub or via a completely amplified system from Bose. The Bose system has a 1 x 100w sub and 4 x 50w into 2 ohms.
