Hi guys,

While I was installing my new Pioneer HU, I managed to somehow short the Switched 12V line on the original audi loom. Please see pic below (Switched +12V):

symphony_wiring_for_sub_amp.jpg

Pin S on the top connector. Now when ignition is on or off, voltage out from Pin S (Switched 12V) is 0.
This also had an knock on effect, when you pull the keys out of the ignition, usually the interior light comes on, now it doesnt. Also the auto door lock doesn't lock when your going 15mph.

Does anyone know where that Pin S comes from? How do I sort the problem out...new ignition switch? or some kind of relay/fuse?

Thanks in advance.
Gavin

Open the fuse box and check all fuses.

Be the best thing to start.

Also, your labelling for the amp power is wrong.
RR AND LR are for the speaker feeds. Right Rear and Left Rear.
