SWG Motorsport induction kit

Just been looking through a VW mag and I see that SWG are going a new cold air induction kit that goes behind the front bumper:

I see it's for the MK4 Golf, but I would imagine it will be the same?

I was also wondering if anyone knew what the quality was like?

Also does any one know whether the filter is none oiled?




Finally I know David R or someone else will give me some stick for posting, but hey never mind LOL

Mark mate, Impossible performance do a similar kit for the golf and it DOES NOT fit the A3 /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif Dunno why, i thought it would be similar too but they told me it would not fit.

Hmm I can't see why it would fit.

I'll give them a ring and see what's different.


It should be the same lenght and diameter tubing shouldn't it?

Also how much is the other kit?

not sure mate, i popped down to impossible ages ago when i had the piperx viper kit and they spoke about the extension pipe to move it down to the bumper and he said it wouldnt fit.
