Swapping instrument cluster coding help

    I've got a friend who had a b5 a4 1.9tdi 1998.
    He has problem with instrument cluster on car. He has source the same clocks and immo version.

    i have genuine vcds have coded and enabled things via vcds before but haven't swapped and coded clocks or keys.

    would anyone have a guide how to do this and rematch the keys.? Any help appreciated

    dont want to mess up the car so would like a guide or help on this cheers

    VCDS got a guide on how to do it but you wont get very far with out the SKC code.

    Have you got that?

    yeh you'll need the SKC. You can extract it from the cluster using VagTacho or other similar products.

    Sorry forgot to say mate used vag tacho and got skc for broken clocks and new clock. Is there a link to the vcds guide? I checked Ross tech and can't find for the b5 a4
