Swaping the arial

It's a fiddly job to fit them on A3, but you can do it by using a large flat screwdriver and popping out the rear passenger light cluster on the roof. Once it's out, you will see the nut that holds the standard aerial and it's pretty basic from there.

One thing you should confirm though, is that the replacement cable connector is the correct one.

ye as above, i chnaged mine for a sharksfin but connector was wrong but i just chamged the connector myself. the most fiddly part if when tightening up the new one from in the car keeping it aligned stright forward on the roof! maybe a 2nd pair of hands holding it still from the outside would help!

This is the same one i baught, thaught it would just fit straight in, but it didnt and now i have no idea how to link them up. Jonezy87 could you please tell me how you did this????? thanks

i will see if yours links up before i order mine.

Why does it not fit. does it not fit in the hole or do you mean the wires dont join??????
