Ive got a bog standard A4 1.9 TDI not even an se,im thinking of lowering it with a set of springs only.

If i get 35 mm spring kit will my car sit as low or lower than a TDI Sport model?

Or is 40mm be better?
Dont know how true this is but ive been told i can use my original shockers?

Finally i was advised after the lowering get the wheel alignment checked.

I was also told as long as i dont go lower than 40mm camber will be ok,is this true?

2002 A4 TDI B6.

If you go 35mm lower then it will be lower then the Sport model. It's always best to get the alignment and camber checked after changing almost anything on the suspension.

1 more thing, ive been offered full springs and shockers off an a4 tdi s-line (avant/estate) i know the front will fit ok,but whats the score with the rear's? ive been told rears springs are stronger on an avant ? what will be the outcome if fitted?

thanks very much for ya help. Do you know if the rear shockers from the tdi avant are the same as the saloon
