Sudden clutch biting point change

    Chaps,

    Looking for advice on a curious one with my S3 the last few weeks.

    I've noticed that the biting point has shifted very high on my clutch the last week or so. It used to be quite low before. It does not seem to be slipping, but I'm concerned it might be on it's way out. Had a new clutch, master & slave cylinder just over 1 year/10k ago so will be upset if another £7-800 bill for replacement if coming my way.

    I did have a seized rear caliper replaced about a month ago, and the brake fluid was changed as well. The brakes are as sharp as ever, so I'm confident the brakes were bled properly. I would have though air in the clutch system would have dropped the biting point lower rather than higher.

    Any suggestions welcome...

    Is it high on both engaging and disengaging?

    I would first of all get it all bled again. You'd have to be really unlucky for it to go that quickly.

    Yeah. It is always high. I'll try to get it bled this weekend...

    I did have a minor oil leak from the VVT module before Xmas, but I'd be suprised if it was sufficient to leak into the bell housing.
