    takes the piss as its exactly the same aerial! As above get the £3.39 one perfect fit.

    I bought one of these but the thread is too small for the fitting on my car (2001 S3). Anyone else had this problem? I have aerial with a gps receiver for the satnav, but I wouldn't expect the thread to be different between that and the standard aerial fitting.

    Got a 2002 S3 and it fits fine.

    Maybe there is a differnce, don't know what to suggest though.

    just force the aerial in. I thought it was the wrong size but it fit after a gentle push

    Are you saying that you thought the thread wasn't wide/big enough too?
