Strange noise from front end

Hi guys, just wondering if someone mite point me in right direction with a few things,

my 2002 S3 is making a squeaking noise from the front poss around breaks area, best to take off calipers and copper slip behind pads?

also what common bushes etc need changing as mine is making a few noises when on hard lock etc and its not had any work done on the suspension, bushes etc at 80k
