The S4 has developed another little niggle.
Recently when starting from cold, I am getting a mettalic rattle between 1000 and 1800rpm.
Hard to describe the sound really, like a sort of metallic squeal. Not really loud at the moment but noticable. Seems to disappear when the engine is nice and hot.
Could it be a bearing in one of the pulleys. Cambelt is due to be changed in 3000 miles.
