I went out to use my car tonight, and when i started the engine i could hear a strange like sucking noise coming from the back of the car, maybe the fuel tank. It sounded like if you are sucking the last bit of a drink with a straw. (i know its a starnge example but all i could think of). Has anyone any ideas what it could be ? The noise lasted for about 5 seconds after i started the engine. Incase it matters my car is a 2.8Q. Hope someone can shine some light on this. Cheers Mark.
