strange clicking noise when putting heater on

    i seam to get a clicking noise from passenger side when putting heating on in car

    any ideas ?

    Is it cyclic?

    It may be the motorized flaps. If it KEEPS repeating, something plastic may be broken....

    Yeah there's the fan unit behind the glovebox that has the flaps controlled by either 1 or 2 motors, dependent on year as in late 07 they changed to 1 motor with a cam system.

    oh ok seams to click warm turn heat up ..
