Stoopid ***! Gone & lost my key '01 1.8TS Avant

Like a stoopid *** I've gone and lost the key for the 1.8TS Avant auto that I'm currently rebuilding the turbo & oil feed on. :evil:

The question is how much are Audi likely to chrge for a new key assuming that I could get one from them?

I know that there are lock sets on the ebay, but do I wanna go down the rigmorole of finding one for a facelift car with the same engine code, then fitting the lock barrels & ecu etc then to find that the car wont play ball? No would be the answer to that.

Any ideas?

Audi will probably charge you a couple hundred quid to supply a new key and recode the car.

RESULT!!!!!!!! Now found the missing key!!! It was in under the passenger seat in my ming blue TS. No having to go to the dealer!!!

Black key against a black carpet, wood & trees springs to mind.......
