    ''l
ast seen on the M42 towards the M6. If you see this car report it to the police, sometimes they get laid up for a few hours while the 'heat' dies off and to make sure they removed the correct tracker. So if you see it, call the police!''

GPS ring fencing has got to be the next security mechanism - Trackers have had their day I think on cars like this ...

I think if I had a £100,000+ car, I would have an iPhone 5 sewn into the seats/floor somewhere that is connected to a charger which could be tracked by 3g/4g on iCloud on google maps. Or another form of GPS secret tracker

Thats actually a good idea, and somehow feed a charger upto it with its own 12v supply

As for trackers they emit a signal, all you need is something that will find the signal!

I remember watching a program a few yrs back in which a group of pro thrives were tasked with stealing a prototype tvr sagaris that had a tracker for the tv program, and they found that within 1 minute and they took the car,

some trackers have trouble getting signal in containers (at the docks for example)

apparently a lot of thieves will park a car somewhere say pub car park / shared parking area for a few days to see if it has tracker, so could be about somewhere.
