Awesome, did you do this? Also, did the sensors come in Audi Light silver or did you have to paint them?
 
Yes. It's very easy to fit. Only you need to check where you gonna drill the holes. You can order in around 20 common colour. You don't need to paint it.
 
Yes. The core is small but pipework is good. And it's cheap. But unfortunately it's out of stock :-(. But thanks for the link. I gonna ask them when they gonna have stock.

Shame they don't offer just the pipe work as kit by itself.
 
Just emailed and ask if they sell the pipe work on its own.

I tried to fit hose to turbo. To find out it's smaller then 2 inch. It's maybe 1.75? :fearscream:

Ebay. Item number is 182169818142. Only 30£
 
After few weeks of flickering xenon headlight one gave up, and changed both. What a pain to do it. On driver side you need to take out air filter box, from passenger side you need to move steering oil reservoir and washer fluid reservoir.

Today was the day for DIY FMIC. 90% done. Only missing one 45 degree pipe because 90 degrees stick out from bumper.

Next week i try to fit back fog lights and to re do driver side pipes. And also bought second hand engine bay cover plastics.

Excellent progress mate, keep it up!

My passenger side Xenon light keeps flickering as well so I'll be changing both bulbs when I split the headlights for painting. How did you find mounting the FMIC? Something I'll be looking to do myself soon.
 
Thanks. But today neighbor reversed in my car, i ring up my insurance company and they want to write off the car. What is nonsense. Probably i gonna repair it self. I have bent crash bar and leaking aircon radiator. Luckily no damage to bumper. If somebody have for sell crash-bar and aircon radiator let me know :)

That's some pretty bad luck man, was the front mount damaged? Is there much damage done to the crashbar?

Sad news. After chat with my insurance company and ringing up dozens of others i cant insure intercooler or any other modification. Thats why everything going back to stock and probably selling the car.
If any body are interested of any parts let me know. Later i gonna put everything in sales part.
 
Unfortunately not. My cheapest quote was around 1600 with only intercooler. Probably i gonna go with something what has already K04 fitted.
 
well that's sad news chap, but it is a real problem these days, some mods you'll get away with but most insurance companies will hammer you for anything that involves mods etc that include the words performance and handling, its not a new thing they have allways been that way but even more these days.
even if you buy another with similar mods already donethey will really hammer you for premiums and if you don't mention them and do make a claim they will not payup.
 
Unfortunately yes. But i gonna try to go with TTS to have more no claims and still to have car what is around 300HP with small mods. But first i need to sell all the bits what i gathered. :-(
 
Hahaha i would sell my car and go with bicycle :-D No worrys for insurance.

Sorry to hear about your bad luck mate, have you tried greenlight for modified car insurance? They are very good.
 
Try giving adrian flux a bell mate they are supposed to be pretty good for modified cars

Any luck with your insurance ? it's such a shame that you may have to undo all the work thats gone into this just because of these stupid ridiculous quotes...
 
Nothing new. One girl called me and told me that she gonna call me back but nothing happened. But now im going on holiday and also decided to buy TTS.
 
Today they took my car for repair. Now i have 1.0 beast for one week :D
