Drivers door seems o be getting stiffer and stiffer to open. Tried oiling the hidges but no difference.

Anybody know what the little bolt under a black plastic cover does on the top door hinge???

It tightens against the hinge pin to prevent the door from wobbling in the hinge.

Try un-doing it and you will see what I mean.

Try oiling with wd40 first, give it a good working, back and forth, it will free up, then oil with your normal lube for lasting effect

The hinges do wear on audis. Is the door perfectly aligned or has it sagged a bit ?

If it is a worn hinge, a common cheap fix is to undo the lower hinge from the body and slip a washer in between the hinge and the body.

Ideally you would replace the hinge, but I cant see how you would easily get it done without removing the wing.
