Yeah was coming longtime back, seeing him during a lunch walking to his car was terrible, like a stick insect, he bought some time with his transplant but I think its inevitable, which is very very sad.

He needs to enjoy more quality time. I met him in apple headquarters in New York 3 years ago, and he was poorly then. He went out of
his way to talk to a groupof kids who were doing a tour round the building. I think he spoke to everyone that day. Place was packed as it was also launch of the smaller ipod shuffle.

Well it looks like he will be staying in the company, I love how apple get this kind of publicity, but if the CEO of dell resigned... Nobody would give a toss lol

When rich and famous people love and endorse your products it's amazing how this translates quickly into 'media time'.

He's a good old boy, and no matter how good Apple think they are, without him I don't think they'd have realised the commercial successes they have seen in the last 10 years. An amazing example of turning the other cheek, and proving one man can be bigger than the Corporate entity.

    All the best to him.

Not keen on Apple's business practices etc but he did well for the company & with his health concerns he should have quit a while back & enjoy his life without all the stress being the CEO will entail.

Thats because Michael Dell is a complete & utter "See You Next Tuesday"

He has knowingly sold many lines of systems with known issues, they only get caned when big corporations take them on, Joe Bloggs doenst stand a chance, Dell's CS is the worst I've ever come across, ever!!!!
