ok , i have two steering wheels the same , one is complete and on car but has a rip in it the other has the front and airbag missing ,

so!
can the airbag be removed from one to the other , if so what how hard and what else would it intail

thanks phil

Phil,

If they are the same steering wheel model then yes they can be swapped over.
There will probably be two torx bolts on the back of the steering wheel that need to be undone to withdraw the airbag and it's front.
Withdraw the airbag and undo the connections.
Undo the big nut holding the wheel on. On later cars this was a large spline drive nut.
Swap the wheel and refit air bag.
Remember that if you turn the steering to get at the two torx bolts to make sure it is straight again before taking the steering wheel off so that the new wheel goes on in the same place.
