Steering wheel

Hi everyone just wondering if anyone would know what I could put on my steering wheel it looks like the last owner scratched the wheel ? Any help would be great.

Can only think Plastidip, but I don't think they do chrome. Can the chrome ring be popped out of the wheel?

If you were up for it, you could mask off the wheel and leave the chrome exposed then sand the chrome back a little with light sand paper then spray it with Platicote, and then chrome spray paint followed by 2-3 coats of clear lacquer? Lot of work, but still most likely cheaper than a new airbag? Hope this helps.

Thanks I've haven't really had a look at seeing if it pops off. I'll have a look later. And spraying sounds good but does sound like a lot of work I'll have to way up the paints. Hope it pops off now tho be a lot easier. Thanks.
