steering wheel shake when braking

    it only happens at say 70 does anyone have any ideas what it could be and where i could start first

    warpped discs ??? strange it only happens at 70 .....

    not just 70 any heavy braking sorry ok ill change the discs and pads and hopefully it sorts cheers mate

    make sure you get uprated ones cos if you get standard again you're likely to do the same thing as obviously, you late break for corners and such. But then again, who doesn't ;)

    wat are good discs to go for that are not too pricey

    Just get your discs shaved/skimmed flat & that should resolve as its cheaper than new ones & depending on how much is left on them they could last for quite a while yet, I've had mine done number of times on various cars & always spot on & saved me fair bit of money given the discs had loads of wear just warped which skimming corrected.
