Yeh but is it easy to replace? Maybe easy to take off but if I fit the new one will it stay in?

Mine was around £20 from TPS if i can remember. Mine was a bit of a cow to get out and easy to put the new one in. I just picked all the old **** out then used a bit of super glue and stuck the other one in. Its still in there now almost a year after.

Adam, the badge came out really easyish and I took it as the snuggness of the leather that kept it in otherwise I'd of done the same as you.

I got mine at an Audi main dealer - wasn't cheap (£25 ish) but they fitted it for me for free, so i'm guessing it was a very quick job!

Looked on ebay but the difference in price was minimal and I'd rather know it was a genuine one rather than some dodgy copy.

I don't have a part number (would depend on pre/post facelift anyway) to hand, but when I got mine they were able to bring it up very quickly so I'd just give your local dealer a ring. Otherwise I can dig out a part number from receipts but won't be able to get hold of them for a couple of days.
