I got myself a steering wheel that was in superb condition only to find that my car has the earlier type column on it. As teh steering wheel seems to be worth bugger all and there's been little interest I was thinking about swapping the column over to the later type. Found a complete column on E-Bay for £20. How much of a ball ache is it to fit and will the stalks etc bolt up to it?

i think you'd need the two main covers and the later slip ring, but pretty sure stalks would fit

but not to hard to remove column
