starter motor on a 2.5 TDI ?

Where do they hide it and is ita B4stard to get off? my ones still playing up and is still auto engaging,

Also are they all the same starter motors for the 2.5 TDI ?

They are different between auto's and manual. ******* job to do ! You need to remove front bumper and remove alternator then the starter will have enough clearance to access. I found the starter wont budge unless the engine mount cames off but you need to support engine with a jack or similar. Done-it once on me a6, dont look forward to do another one soon !
