my audi garage phoned me yesterday and said that the noise I showed them in my car is standard in an s3, seriously can someone give me some help here ? When i lift the clutch to biting point then press it again straight away quickly say to make the car jerk forward a tiny bit each time it makes a sort of metalic squeek kind of noise, and they`v now told me every s3 does this can any folks check this please so as to put my mind at rest

No, I don't get the noise. So they should either fix mine or fix yours...

Sounds like a dodgy thrust bearing.

my cars still in warranty and the box was out for repair so I told them thinking if it was a clutch problem then this would be the ideal time to have it fixed and thats what they came back with, how can I telll them that they are wrong ?
