stalled a dsg?

    Strange thing happen this afternoon, got back into my car after visiting the supermarket and started it fine, put it in R to reverse out the space and when i pressed the accelerator it stalled? How can an auto stall? lol

    Haha, but no! And was on the flat and with a full tank of diesel.

    Well stalling a DSG is not uncommon, actually its a pretty well known issue. Apparently DSG are not actually automatics

    yup FIL managed to do just that in mine on Saturday reversing off his drive...I did have to giggle.
    It seems to happen if the clutch actuator (i think) comes in to sharp when you dont have enough revs.

    Stalled DSG in my Seat Leon before.

    Was pulling out a space when I noticed it was in S so flicked it to D and it stalled.
