    Hi,

I'm looking for some information regarding a slight hesitation that has just started with my 2010 S3. Car has done 11.5K. Mods on the car: ITG Intake, Autotech Fuel Pump, MV Sport Downpipe/Sports Cat, REVO Stage 2+. Car has had the mods since 2K miles and has run perfect up till now, the hesitation is lower down the revs with any kind of acceleration. (not clutch slip)

If anyone has had any experience of this and knows what it could be could you pass on the information.

    Thanks in advance, Gary.

I was hoping it was spark plugs. What do you guys recommend for uprated plugs?

When you say hesitation, is it at idle, or as you pull away?

I find my idle is a touch hesitant (even with new plugs) under cold start. Once she's warmed up she runs smooth as, but until then when the fuel is running rich there is a touch of inconsistency in the idle.

Its when your moving, my car is due an oil change. I changed the oil myself at 6k miles and its now counting down on my computer. Hopefully with the oil change and new plugs it should sort itself out. Thanks guys.

Can someone please explain to me why an oil change would help get rid of an engine hesitation?

it wont its just good practice to give the oil a can of flush to get rid of carbon buildup and fresh oil to keep it running smooth
