Seriously though it wont make much of a difference, you will get more mid range punch through the rev range though and pull to over 70mph a lot quicker.

I managed to get 5 secs using my OBD2 reader.
I was trying hard, could probably get much better if I tried multiple times.

Yes they are brilliant for looking at your car quickly rather than plugging in vag-com, they aren't as intelligent but they display most values, I use it for track to check temps more accurately. I use a dongle and Torque Pro via Android. Not sure of an iPhone equivalent.
You can get 0-60, 0-100, 1/4mile times anything like that.
