    The famous St Georges Mushroom - in a field near you now.

    In this case, picked fresh from the wilds of Derbyshire and destined for the only Michelin Star restaurant in Nottingham...

    And yes, it is St Georges Day!

    I've picked a lot of Chanterelles in Scotland - and Slippery Jacks - but I think the ones you're alluding to (Liberty Caps) grow in abundance on the Isle of Skye in late September.
