    Hi Guys...

Totally new to the whole S3 scene... Just purchased an 08 sprint blue S3 fully loaded and i'm overjoyed with my wee car..

I'm just in the process of updating the looks slightly...

    3 Rear window smoked tints..
Tinted wind deflectors (As i've seen a few S3's with these recently and they look sweet, but also functional)
LED drl conversion (But not facelift Drl's)
Number plate lamp + fitment LED conversion
    All round alloy wheel refurbishment.....

I'm looking at the calipers now and they are the boring gun metal...

I'm wondering if anyone has tried Yellow calipers?, because I think they would pop and look good and different, but not sure??

Any pics would be appreciated guys of any different brake caliper colours on a sprint blue s3 and any suggestions..
(I've seen Fuzions s3 and its gorgeous, but not so keen on the red calipers as too many cars have them now)

    Thanks.... Jack

If you're going to have yellow calipers they really should come with Lamborghini or Porsche script on them... ;)

Leave them OEM - the standard S3 brakes are nothing to be proud of anyway so I wouldn't draw attention to them lol

I'd replace the S3 logo'd caliper holders for fresh ones to brighten them up a bit - did that with mine and made a good difference.

Sort out the handling on the car first :)

I'm quite happy with my brakes! Think I've already half-cooked the pads though, in less than 8k miles! Mintex 1155s next then I guess?!

Just looked through that thread and love the look of the yellow.

I use to have yellow calipers on my old car. Think it looks great :)

    Thanks for the responses guys....

i just cant make my mind up... I think with the yellow the car would look really clean... But i'm not too sure..

as said before I might just refurb the oem colour for now and maybe make my mind up later.. I do feel that Yellow on a sprint blue car would look better than the red... But I dont want to take anything away fron the look of the car.. Want to leave it pretty much standard but just enhance some of the looks as I stated above

    Welcome to the site.

Yellow calipers on a sprint blue, would look very chavy imho, leave as is :) & I happen to think the S3 brakes are actually pretty good, saved my arse yesterday.

Talk to T8ups about led bulbs, he's the man for this.
