Okay, I know this is a bizarre question, and I fully expect some silly answers, but:

How do I tell if I've got sports suspension?

I assumed I didn't. I've not driven a similar car that I knew for sure either way to compare. But, the nice chap aligning my wheels this morning after a rather vicious pot-hole attack yesterday, thought I did...

I'm assuming all the numbers on the sticker in the boot and in the book mean something...

You should be able to check with an Audi dealer if you give them the details of the car. Engine number etc.

Rats, I was hoping to avoid the dealer...

Generally wasn't impressed when I was trying to find a car to buy. Really wasn't impressed when I wanted some advice about wheels...

The sports suspension is noticeably lower. So you should be able to tell by just looking. There is less of a gap between the top of the tyre and the arch on a sport. Look at cars for sale in Auto Trader or http://www.fontain.co.uk/ to get an idea of what I mean.

This is assuming that the car hasn't been modified with aftermarket suspension.
