spoon Civic revving to 11000rpm

    Man this is crazy, seeing the revs get higher and higher and the sound louder and louder and still the same gear.

    dont think so.it will prob rev to that but he seems to change about or just before 10 most of the time. thats a proper engine.

    Impressive stuff...

    However, the standard engine if good for 9000 RPM, so around 1500-2000 RPM extra.

    This bad boy revs to just over 10000, from an engine designed to rev to around 7000.
    Very impressive...

    8250 rpm standard i think. it was the type r b16b that went to 9k or just over.

    I agree...but a standard B16 or B18 is good for over 9000 with a Mugen ECU and no other mods (9100 IIRC on my B18C with a Mugen ECU and no other mods)...so the engine is good for it.

    A Golf 16v engine isn't good for much above standard - so getting 3000RPM more is a fair achievement.
