I have managed to get some discount off the core supplier so instead of £420.00 + £15.00 P+P+Vat, we can do them for £379.00 + £15.00+Vat or more saving available if paid by Paypal gift ..... Please enquire.

As soon as I have 10 people on the list we can go for it, I even have the cores in stock so delivery will not be very long even though we have to slip them in between other regular jobs.

Also working on the Audi TT, so watch this space.

Actually its 'tuffty' but I can change that LOL... I always refer to it as the AH Fabs V2 rather than the 'Tuffty Cooler'... I don't need the fame like Welly did ;P

    Welcome aboard Alex :D

I'll post a link in the 8L stickies directing people to this...

Is this FMIC ok on a standard car with the original K04 or is it more applicable to the big boys?

By std you mean not mapped?... the SMIC's are woefully inadequate tbh and will heat soak in the summer... the effects of heatsoak will be less evident on a non mapped car as performance isn't that fantastic that you would notice... typically after about 30degrees intake temps the timing advance alters and more timing is pulled out as a result... this drops torque even though boost remains largely the same and is why the car sometimes feels a little less punchy than before...

Essentially to answer your question, yes it will be ok on a std K04... Bill mapped an S3 recently that had a std K04 and this FMIC fitted (granted it also had a Badger 5 80mm TIP and Relentless tubular exhaust manifold and 3" DP) and made 295hp

    It works well :)

I run mine with a stage 1 and no issues. Car runs very well for it's current spec.

Depends on what you mean by 'ok'... tbh its a bit overkill for a K03 turbo... fitment wise the brackets are set up for the S3 bumper and I suspect to fit an A3 the fmic would need to be lifted upa bit as the A3 bumper curves in more at the bottom... this could cause an issue with the top of the core catching on the grille as I designed the core to sit just under this on the S3

I'm pretty sure it was 200-300 quid when I asked but they may have a better priced courier now. I ended up flying over and getting it myself :)

The parcel size is: 102 x 60 x 30 Cm`s and weight is 10 Kg if you want to get a quote for a collection from me.

For me to send it out, it would be, £192.00 with Fedex, £202.00 with UPS and £251.00 with TNT. My preference would be UPS but all offer tracking.

    Many thanks,

    Alex.

    Hi,

Do you have any future promotions coming up on this intercooler in the near future or is £420 + £15 PP +VAT the best deal at the moment?

    Cheers,
    Alex

    Hi Alex,

I have 2 cores in stock at the moment, anyone else want the other one ?

I can do it for £394.00 delivered to mainland UK if you pay by Paypal gift (ahfabs@googlemail.com).

Delivery about 7-14 days as it is a bit crazy busy at the moment,

    Many thanks,

    Alex.
