As a new start business, I'd like to offer ASN members a unique discount on spare keys. If this goes well, I will continue to offer regular great deals on keys and other services to ASN members.

I can provide a new key, either remote or non remote, fully programmed to your car.
Many people use cheap clone tools and carry out work on your car without the correct insurances should things go wrong. I am able to offer any key and immobiliser related services with the correct insurances, and genuine equipment with support if things go wrong!

Prices menu as follows: (more to come depending on demand)
Complete non remote key programmed to your car 50.00 or 25.00 if bought with a remote key.
Complete non genuine remote key programmed to your car 80.00
Complete genuine remote key programmed to your car ( price per job but usually between 100-120)

All keys will be cut using your existing key to copy with or even a photo of your key!

In most cases the aftermarket keys supplied are of similar or better quality than the key you are holding onto right now, plus they come in a variety of oem looks including the later 8P style flip keys! Here are some example pics of three flip key designs. (sorry im unsure how to post photos on this post)

ASN MEMBERS SAVE 15% on the above prices automatically.
I will deliver these keys and program them at your convenience for a fuel charge.

I am prepared to offer a group buy if there is demand for 5+ people in a similar location.

I can program many other makes of keys, but prices will vary on a per car basis, for a quote please pm me your make model reg and vin number. You will still get a great discount!

Please note, these are not OEM remotes and as such have no logos, nor provision to add them neatly. They were designed with VAG in mind, but I guess VW SKODA and SEAT logos were more in demand than the 4 rings! If you want something that looks like the original remote I can do these at a good price but on a per car basis.

As this is my first offer of this type I would be open to constructive comments by pm.
    Thanks,
    Tom

    8p isn't kline, it's CANBUS & will need pre-coding

8P keys apparently work with B5s.
B5 and 8Ls can use the same keys, so the 8P key should work with a 8L.
I'm waiting for a cheap unit to come up on ebay and give it a test but going by other forums it works.

the remotes may work but the transponders won't because 8L is a kline transponder & 8p is CANBUS regardless of them both being id48.

Also the 8L uses 2 different remotes depending on what year it is & the B5 has 3 different remotes depending on year so the newer style remote may not work with each version

    Good point.
I guess it would be easier to swap the transponder over, save coding but it will render your old key defunct and there is always the risk of cracking the transponder :(.

What's the middle key out of three?
I like that one more than the 8P ones.

Gops was referring to the 8P style aftermarket key to suit his 8L, which will be supplied with new transponder to suit and programmed to his car.

I'm interested in this too, but for just one key.

My car has no boot release, won't be a problem right?

No problem with no boot release function on your car, but you'll have a button extra on the remote that does nothing.

have you tested that the 3 button remote works with a 2 button car? no point wasting a 3 button remote, just use the correct 2 button remote 4d0 837 231r

If somebody wants an 8P style remote, I'm sure the spare button will be no issue. Its compatible with 4d0 837 231r.

Good to meet you 'H'. Glad you went away happy, and with working fog lights too! If your passing somtime bring your third key with you ill re program it.

A note to anyone else buying keys, I need ALL KEYS at the time I code them in otherwise you could end up with one not working. (sometimes all keys need erasing to take the programming.)

AUDI stick on badges have been sourced, awaiting delivery. Will let you stick them on yourself, im not selling genuine keys and dont want to lead people into thinking i am! (unless specificly requested all keys are aftermarket.)

Im looking to add a3 models upto 2005 (maybe later too) and A4 upto 2008 to the list shortly.

Due to extra security and software needed in the later cars prices will be slightly higher, but for ASN members should still fall in at under 100 per spare remote key. Feel free to show your interest!

    Another happy customer here,
Thanks tom, great guy and came to me to get the information required as he was passing by.
Next day he had popped the key in the post next day delivery and also helped me code the key via vag-com. Luckily i had vag-com so he was able to talk me through how to set up the keys over the phone, however even if i didnt have vag-com he would come visit me again to get it right! Seriously top guy and very quick unlike Audi Dealers where you have to wait up to 28 days for a new key!!!! Tom did mine within 3 days (delivered & programmed to work) which could of been quicker if we didnt have to wait for the genuine key.

If your like me looking for a spare key for a cheaper price, Tom is your guy and hes got me a genuine key so i was very happy.

    Thanks alot Tom much appreciated

    Regards
    Will

Not sure if you do that or if you know ?
but would it be possible to replace the key of my 8V A3 (same as the 8P key) with a key from an A4 (or similar) ?

I am talking about an original A4 key, can you recode it to work with my car or can it be done ?

    I have keyless entry

    Thanks

an 8V remote isn't the same as an 8P remote regardless of if it looks identical. The part numbers are different. An A4 remote won't work neither because that again will have a different part number. You need an 8V remote with part number 8V0837220D

I know they're not the same, what I wanted to know is if an A4 key could be coded to work with the A3 8V

8v is too new to say ive tried. I highly doubt the remotes will be compatible. The immobiliser isnt an issue though, the key can be programmed to start the car.

I understand what you're saying. but I am talking about modifying the key. It's like saying will bentley rims fit an A4, straight away they won't but with the right modifications they will.

I was thinking about motherboard replacement inside the key for example. All I want is the look of the A4 key, not the internals.

same question to you. motherboard replacement/coding/whatever etc is something possible ?

    where there's a will there's a way, right ?
