spacers needed or not?

    recently purchased 18x8, +38 offset, centerbore 66.56mm rims thinking about 245/40/18 tires on a 97 audi a4 2.8Q with a stock suspension, any suggestions on whether or not i need spacers? i dunno new to this Thanks Alot

    245's will probably rub against your arch linings on full lock. Also they will definetely hit your arches if you car is lowered, front and back...

    Why not go for 225/40/18 tyres, they will be fine on your A4, and you shouldn't have any issues with arch clearance then.

    225/40/18 was my second option i wasn't sure though for the 245's would of been nice though, so for the 225/40/18 i wouldnt need any spacers at all then right? thanks again guys

    Nope, running 225/35's at the front on mine and its fine. Have 235/35's on the back and they are fine too :)

    Phantom are those 235/35's 18's or 19's i have the same but mine are 19's and just ordered some lowering springs by Tein that will lower my car 1.5'... Is my car going to rub if i install them?
