Spacer recommendation

Hi Guys,

Not posted on here for a while so hope you are all doing well! Just have a spacer question...

I have a 2006 A3 Sport Sportback, currently on standard springs and looking to get some spacers to push the wheels out a bit. Just wondered what size of spacer you would all recommend in getting for this?

Around 10mm front and 12mm rear is generally the most popular option.

Damian is correct and that is what I am running.
However, if I had my time again, i'd go 10 and 10.

I am on Bilstein PSS10 with the front wound down to max and the back just a little higher.
My wheels are 18x7.8 ET54 so i have pushed the back out to ET42.
Normal day to day, I am fine but I do get rubbing over pumps when I have people (even one person) in the back.

You will be fine on standard springs and 17" wheels but if you plan on lowering in the future, I'd consider the 10mm rear spacer to prevent future problems.
