Space saver wheel

anybody know what size space saver will fit my S1? Doing a trip to France and don't want to be without a spare wheel, I know a spare won't fit under the boot floor so just want to bung it in the back when I leave. I have 17s on the car. Went to dealers yesterday and they said the space saver spares won't fit the car?? Doesn't sound right to me, any thoughts please.

Ah, thought the the dealer was wrong. Do you know if it's a 16 or 18 inch s,saver? As they do two.

Just been out and measured it, it's an 18 ins hope this helps.

If you have 18" wheels then you will need the 18" space saver. Simply put the space saver must be the same size as or smaller than your wheels. The only thing you may wish to check is whether or not the space saver - if fitted - would clear the brake discs on your S1.

They are easy to fit in the boot under the floor, you just can't lower the floor. I have the 16" version under my wife's A1 - see this thread for piccies (scroll down towards the bottom where I have put some piccies of the one in my wife's boot)

New from the dealer with fitting kit I believe they are about £200 as you need a slightly different box to fit in the boot to clear around the edge of the tyre (the top is the same, the underside is different
