    Anything is possible at a price. In all honesty, unless you fancy the challenge, for the amount of money / pain fitting a turbo to a 2.0 FSI, you would be better trading it in for a 1.8T which is more modifiable.

    If your used to the 1.8T, why have you bought a 2.0 naturally asthmatic?

    You've not even bought the car and are already asking about power increases, tells me its the wrong car for you!

    180 or so.... hmmm... unless you're planning on heavy engine work (several grand's work of gas flowed head + high lift camms, etc), then you won't get near there... just trade it in for a 1.8T...

    A4 2.0 fsi is not for speeding and increase power at all. Probably a good car for eco driving and low fuel consumption. Maybe a commuter car.

    On the fuel economy balance:
    2.0 = 34mpg
    2.0FSI = 38mpg
    1.8T (190) = 32mpg
    1.8T (163) = 34mpg....

    A late model 1.8T 190bhp in quattro is a lowly 30mpg, but still the best balanced of the performance vs economy A4 B6's, unless you're doing >15k per year....

    If you're used to (and like the S3), but just want the back seats + boot space, then a 190bhp 1.8T quattro avant is probably what you're after... the 2.0 is fine for pootling around and a comfortable cruiser, but it's never going to be "lively".

    I haven't even got close to 30 mpg in my 190 Quattro, 23 is normal, 25 at best.

    So one of three things: there's something wrong with your car, that's either aggressively (race?) re-mapped or you have a really heavy right foot.... I'm banking on a combinaiton of the last two ;)

    Parkers says mine is 35mpg (Audi A4 Saloon (00-04) 2.5 TDI quattro Sport (180ps) 4d - MPG, Dimensions & Performance | Parkers)

    I usually get around 35mpg on mixed, moderate driving: that I've run a full tank at 30mpg and a full tank at 40mpg within a few weeks of each other.... it all depends on driving style.

    No. He's comparing his mpg with that quoted for his car from Parkers.
