As above, What are the pros and cons of converting to a single mass flywheel?

My dual mass isn't dead or anything, just my clutch, but I want to do everything in one go... Fit and forget and all that.

Any help, advice, or stories that anyone can tell me will be greatly appreciated :)

    Cheers
    Ben

Pro's.. You will never have to replace it, more free revving engine.

Con's... Gearbox chatter, less engine braking.

Thats if you plan to fit a very light flywheel, you can get solid mass ones that are the same weight as the standard one I've been told

Hmm sounds interesting, just one thing, what is gearbox chatter? Is that like jerky-ness on the over run?

The TTV racing 4kg billet flywheel and 4 paddle unsprung clutch plate and standard cover

Gearbox chatter= when at idle the gearbox chatters due to no damping from a solid flywheel when the dual mass is fitted you don't get the chatter
