Snub mounts ??

Right i need to no which snub mount and bracket is fitted to my car im about to order some bits up with hektor but dont no which 034 snub and bracket i need cars a 99 1.8TQS, do i need the early one thats bolted to a steel plate or late that bolts to the sump ???

I think I need to do mine. I'm getting more vibrations through the steering wheel and peddles.

So registering my interesting in this post and hopefully get some information for my FWD TDI.

Scott If you`re Snub was screwed you`d be getting loads of slop in the stick instead of vibration. Getting a solid snub would give vibration no doubt just like getting harder normal engine mounts.

The one bolted to the sump is for cars without aircon and is only for APT/ARG/ADR engines. You need the one bolted to the steel plate .

Hmm i was confused as my old one iirc i may be wrong was bolted to a steel plate and that was ADR w/aircon ??

I may just have a quick look tonite see what i can see from up top.

all 058 blocks have the steel plate, including the AJL in the TQS.

TQs is steel pate, the sump mounted one is B6 on iirc

and after all this the rs4 snub bushes are on back order cause someone bought them all lol
